Point

A train runs through the precinct of this temple. They offer shukubo accommodation as well as a youth hostel.

This shukubo is really clean. As there were four women pilgrims traveling alone, we shared a large room together. A male guest and a couple were using the small rooms.

I think the facilities were also good. It was raining cats and dogs when I arrived, but they were waiting for me, spreading a vinyl sheet out in a corner of the corridor so that I was able to dry ,my wet things. The wife of the head priest was nice and kind.

The food was not extraordinarily gorgeous but it was pretty good. In the morning, there was a religious service. I was able to see the famous picture on the ceiling while lying down on the floor. It was fun.
